Ultra X

Home backup systems are complex, but their real value is simple—peace of mind. The EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra X (yes, quite the name) is an upgraded sequel to the DELTA Pro Ultra launched in early 2024. My goal for this campaign was to preserve the technical credibility while bringing a more human touch to the storytelling. I also wrote the script for the intro video here:

Two challenges defined this launch: conveying the product’s semi-portable nature and highlighting its record-fast installation. We needed a tagline that expressed mobility—the idea that DPUX can be wheeled between rooms or even taken to a new home—while still acknowledging that most users would integrate it into a full EcoFlow home power ecosystem, using either the Smart Home Panel 3 or Smart Gateway, each with its own advantages.

For the first challenge, we landed on the tagline “Whole-Home Power. Unbound.” Unbound was the only word that captured both the product’s semi-portable nature—without over-promising—and its more aspirational meaning of limitless energy and possibility.

For the second, we emphasized that users could receive installation service within 7 days, supported by a carefully written (and legally approved) footnote explaining the complex terms behind that promise.

“EcoFlow’s 7‑day installation service applies in major metropolitan areas and begins after both product delivery and installation service purchase. The 7‑day period excludes delays beyond EcoFlow’s control, including customer rescheduling, non‑compliant wiring, weather, permitting, or force majeure.”

It may sound mundane, but these details are essential—the kind of fine print that allows a company to communicate its product benefits both clearly and responsibly.
